Judah asked me if I would race them after dinner. I said we'd see. He said, "Well, nevermind. Mommies can't run after they have babies." I tried to clarify to see if he meant mommies can't run while they have babies inside their tummies. "No, they just can't run after they have babies." Why, Judah? Because we're out of shape? "No, just because they can't. Boys can run whenever they want to..." And off he went into a tangent.

Elijah, innocently, at breakfast: "Can I have more banana butt cheerios and bananas?"
